Sunday School is 9:30-10:30 each Sunday morning. There are classes for all ages from baby to adult. There is a Meet & Greet Cafe in the Fellowship Hall from 10:15-10:40, which has light refreshments. This gives us a chance to fellowship prior to the start of the worship service. Worship service begins at 10:45 AM each Sunday. Children in grades 1-6 are dismissed from the worship service to their own Growing Up Church, after the pastoral prayer.
We have several Bible Study opportunities, as well as small groups with special emphasis. Get involved with one of these groups to broaden your church experience.
Women's Bible Study:
Winter Bible studies to begin in January. There will be two women's Bible studies,
which will be studying "Encountering the God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob." This is
another Beth Moore study which reveals the flawed humanity & sin-nature of human
beings, including the patriarchs of the O.T. There is homework for this study five days
of the week. One group meets on Tuesday mornings from 10:00-12:00 & the other
group meets on Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30. Both groups meet in the church
parlor. Tuesday, Jan. 17 is the first meeting for the Tuesday group & the Thursday
group starts on Jan. 19. There will be sign-up sheets in the church narthex
Sunday 1/1,8,15. You also may register for the study by calling the church office at

Men's Bible Study:
The winter Men's Bible study will begin on Monday, Jan. 16 at 7:00 PM. Depending
on the size of the group, it will be determined where the group will meet. If there are
nine or less, the group will meet at the home of the leader, Adam Baillie. If there are
more than nine signed up they will meet in the church parlor. The group will be
studying the O.T. book of the prophet Hosea. There is no homework for this study &
all you would need is a Bible & a writing instrument. The sessions are guaranteed to
end by 8:30 PM. There will be a sign-up sheet in the church narthex on 1/1, 8, 15 or
you may call the church office to register at 440-365-7391.

Adult Choir:
The adult choir practices on Wed. evenings from 7:00-8:00 PM in the sanctuary. We will be starting up again for the Winter, and our first practice will be the Wednesday after New Years Day. Anyone interested in singing to the Lord is welcome to participate in the choir.

United Methodist Men:
The UMM of Community United Methodist meet every first Sunday of the month, excluding July, for a sumptuous breakfast and either a speaker or a devotional. The men raise funds to support the church by cooking, preparing, jarring and selling apple butter (see photo above). UMM also sponsors our youth in summer camp experiences and provides the magazine "Pockets", for our young people. A project within UMM is a group called DOERS, who help the elderly of the church, widows, widowers, etc. with tasks around the home.

Quilting Circle:
If you enjoy quilting or would like to learn more about quilting, our church quilting circle meets every Wednesday morning. Usually starting at 8:00AM, although some arrive even earlier, the women quilt all morning and normally share lunch together. Your men could bring you and shoot pool in the Youth Room.

Caring Crafters:
Our Caring Crafters create greeting cards and stamping for all occasions. This group meets at the church on the third Friday of each month. The meeting begins at 1:00PM and all levels of crafters are encouraged to participate. For questions related to this group, please call Sue Downey at 327-7831.

First Place:
First Place is a Bible Study/weight loss program. Books and materials are avaiable for a fee. If you would like to join or have questions, please call either Diane Harbst at 322-0956 or Liz Gibbs at 365-4293. The group meets every Monday morning beginning at 9:30AM

Dorcas Circle of UMW:
On the first Tuesday of each month, the Dorcas Circle of the UMW meets at the church. They meet at noon for lunch, ministry opportunities and a board meeting. All women are invited and encouraged to attend this circle.

Counseling Ministry:
Lay counseling services are available from a trained lay counselor. Anyone desiring an
appointment for counseling,may call the church office at 440-365-7391 to make such an appointment. The lay counselor is also a trained Stephen Minister.
