Children grades 1-6 meet for choir practice Wed. 6:30-7:00 PM. After choir practice there is a fellowship hour from 7:00-8:00. During worship,they are dismissed to Growing Up Church, after the Pastoral prayer.

TRUTH (Teens Rising Up Through Him) Council currently consists of three teens, two adult advisors and one parent. Truth Council plans the monthly and weekly activities for the entire teen program. Joy Baker is President, Alex Craig is Vice President, and Maria Fein is the Secretary/Treasurer.

Fuego ( On Fire For God) --"En el fuego para el deos" is the Spanish acronym that is descriptive of the teen group. Each week there is Bible study and an activity. Teens are committed to Missions, helping those in need, service programs and Evangelism. They recently sent Christmas cards to all the shut-ins and Service Men/Women, participated in the "Hanging of the Christmas Greens," in the church, went Christmas caroling to Shut-ins,and are planning a 30 hour Fast as a fund raiser in February for World Vision. They attended Grace Church in Middleburg Hts. and heard personal testimonies from four of the Cleveland Browns. They have enjoyed the activities of camping, Cedar Point, and bowling.

A Beth Moore Bible Study entitled "To Live is Christ" will be offered on three different days.  There is a Monday 10:00AM group which meets in the church parlor.  This begins on Monday Sept. 8.  There is a Tuesday morning group which meets at the Goforth home at 9:30AM and begins on Tuesday Sept. 9.  The third group meets on Thursday evenings at 6:30 in the church parlor and begins on Thursday Sept. 11.  Call the church office at 365-7391 between 8:00-1:00 or Linda Knapp at 365-9568 to register or seek information.

The adult choir practices on Wed. evenings from 7:00-8:00 PM in the sanctuary.
Anyone interested in singing to the Lord is welcome to participate in the choir.

The UMM of Community United Methodist meet every first Sunday of the month, excluding July, for a sumptuous breakfast and either a speaker or a devotional. The men raise funds to support the church by cooking, preparing, jarring and selling apple butter (see photo above). UMM also sponsors our youth in summer camp experiences and provides the magazine "Pockets", for our young people. A project within UMM is a group called DOERS, who help the elderly of the church, widows, widowers, etc. with tasks around the home.

If you enjoy quilting or would like to learn more about quilting, our church quilting circle meets every Wednesday morning.  Usually starting at 8:00AM, although some arrive even earlier, the women quilt all morning and normally share lunch together.  For information you may call Edie Williams at 365-8245.  Your men could bring you and shoot pool in the Youth Room.

Our Caring Crafters create greeting cards and stamping for all occasions.  This group meets at the church on the third Friday of each month.  The meeting begins at 1:00PM and all levels of crafters are encouraged to participate.  For questions related to this group, please call Sue Downey at 327-7831.

First Place is a Bible Study/weight loss program.  Books and materials are avaiable for a fee.  If you would like to join or have questions, please call either Diane Harbst at 322-0956 or Liz Gibbs at 365-4293.  The group meets every Wednesday morning beginning at 9:30AM

On the first Tuesday of each month, the Dorcas Circle of the UMW meets at the church.  They meet at noon for lunch, ministry opportunities and a board meeting.  All women are invited and encouraged to attend this circle.

Lay counseling services are available from a trained lay counselor. Anyone desiring an
appointment for counseling,may call the church office at 440-365-7391 to make such an appointment. The lay counselor is also a trained Stephen Minister.
